Ben Gannon-Doak became Celtic’s second youngest ever player after making his debut as a sixteen-year-old against Dundee United in January 2022. After a move to English Premier League giants Liverpool, the winger made his senior debut for the Anfield side during a League Cup match against Derby County in November 2022. He became the youngest Scottish player to play in the English Premier League when he made his league debut as a second half substitute at Villa Park on Boxing Day of 2022. After missing the majority of the 2023/24 season through injury, Gannon-Doak signed for English Championship side Middlesbrough on loan from Liverpool, scoring on his debut during a victory over Stoke City in September 2024. After impressing during this loan spell, Bournemouth signed the winger for a fee of £20million in the summer of 2025. At international level, Gannon-Doak made a goal scoring debut for the Scotland Under-21s at the age of sixteen in September 2022, becoming the youngest ever scorer for Scotland at that age level. Scotland head coach Steve Clarke included the winger in his provisional squad for EURO 2024, but he was forced to withdraw through injury. His senior international debut followed in September of 2024, with Gannon-Doak coming on as a 71st minute substitute during a 3-2 defeat to Poland at Hampden. He scored his first senior international goal in November 2025 against Greece during a FIFA World Cup qualifying match, before starting the final qualifying match of the campaign against Denmark as Scotland qualified for their first World Cup since 1998.
