Over 80 coaches from within the Scottish FA Forth Valley area recently attended a coach development evening at the University of Stirling.

Alex Smith MBE, Assistant Head Coach of Falkirk F.C and Craig McPherson, Head of Youth Development delivered content on the night.

Assistant Head Coach Alex Smith added: “I was pleased to see so many local coaches in attendance and was happy to share some of my experiences with them at the end of the evening. The work these people do giving their time up to help develop the kids at grass roots level is tremendous and without them the game wouldn’t happen.”

Scottish FA Football Development Manager Alan Morgan added: “I was delighted with the attendance and as always I’m sure the coaches went away with lots of ideas that they can implement or adapt with the group of players they are working with.”

Thanks go to Falkirk F.C for delivering the evening and providing the facility and academy team to demonstrate the session. Finally, big thanks to Alex and Craig for delivering some great content which was very well received by all in attendance.
