This weekend eight Premiership sides will battle it out across three days to decide who will step out at Hampden Park on 8 and 9 May in the semi-finals.
The draw for the semi-finals will take place live on BBC Scotland, after Kilmarnock v St Mirren on Monday evening.
Hibernian will host Motherwell in the first match of the weekend, on Saturday night at 5pm, live on Premier Sports. The hosts will be aiming to reach their sixth Scottish Cup semi-final in the last nine seasons. Their last appearance came in October 2020 when they lost out to Hearts.
Despite regularly facing each other in the league, Scottish Cup ties between the two are rare with the last one coming in the season of 1994/95, when Hibs won 2-0 at Easter Road thanks to goals from Kevin Harper and Pat McGinlay.
Motherwell are aiming to reach the Scottish Cup semi-final for just the third time in 18 years. However on both occasions they went on to reach the final.
The last time the two sides played each other, Motherwell ran out 2-0 winners at Easter Road, earlier this year.
On Sunday, Aberdeen v Dundee United is the featured match for BBC Scotland. Aberdeen reached this stage after a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Livingston and are aiming to reach the Scottish Cup semi-final for the fifth consecutive season. They have only achieved this once before, between 1981/82 and 1985/86.
Aberdeen possess a good record in this fixture having never lost to Dundee United at Pittodrie in the Scottish Cup. In seven previous meetings the Dons have picked up five wins and two draws. The last Scottish Cup quarter-final meeting of Aberdeen and Dundee United came back in 2004/05, when United won 4-1 at Tannadice.
Later that day, Rangers will be aiming to continue their recent good run of form as St Johnstone come to town. The two sides faced each other in midweek and St. Johnstone secured a draw at the death with a Liam Craig penalty cancelling out a second half Scott Wright goal. Rangers have never lost to St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup, having played them on 12 occasions in the competition. This will be the first Scottish Cup meeting of Rangers and St Johnstone at Ibrox since 1996/97, when the Light Blues won 2-0 thanks to goals from Erik Bo Andersen and Seb Rozental.
The Quarter-Final fixtures will be rounded off at Rugby Park as Kilmarnock look to continue on from their thumping 3-0 win over Dundee United in midweek. Spearheaded by Kyle Lafferty, Kilmarnock have hit form and will go into the match with confidence. Tommy Wright's side are aiming to reach the Scottish Cup semi-final for the first time since they won the trophy in 1997 – they have lost all four of their quarter-finals since then.
St Mirren too, come into the match on the back of a promising midweek victory, beating Ross County 3-1. This will be the first Scottish Cup meeting of Kilmarnock and St Mirren since 1977/78, when Killie won 2-1 at Love Street.
