Motherwell FC Community picked up the Best Community Initiative Award at the SPL Clydesdale Bank Awards at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow.
The award was for Step-Up - a project aimed predominantly at young females in the Motherwell/Wishaw area who may not have the same opportunities at school.
The girls, aged 12-15, are taken through a 40 week programme, broken into 10-week blocks, which educates them on various subjects such as internet safety, food and nutrition, home safety, drugs awareness and teamwork.
It also includes a large element of physical activity, with dance, cheerleading and aerobics all included in the programme.
The girls involved were also invited to perform their routine at a Motherwell home game as a reward for all their hard work.
