15 Players from the Central Region Girls Squads have been given the chance to shine at International level.

First came the U19 squad, with Jenna Ross, Louise Magilton (both Rangers) and Nicola Docherty (Falkirk Ladies) selected to represent Scotland in the 1st Qualifying Round of the European Championships in Bulgaria.  They faced Northern Ireland, Bulgaria and Italy over an 8 day trip.

Then this weekend 8 players were selected from the U15 regional squad to attend a 32 player camp at Toryglen.  Corri Cairns, Nicole McPhee (Falkirk Ladies), Carolina Richardson, Mary Clare Steele (Motherwell), Megan Cunningham, Rachel Halliday, Leigh Nicol and Cara Wilkie (all Celtic) will take part in a 3 day camp where they will take part in training and theory sessions.

Finally from the 4-13th October, 3 players will attend the U17 European Championships 1st Qualifying Round in Lithuania.  Heather Richards, Lucy Clark (Motherwell) and Emily Thomson (Arsenal) will play 3 games against Lithuania, Austria and Czech Republic over the 10 day period.  Nicola Hardie (Celtic) is on standby for the tournament.
