Ticket sales for home matches in huge year for Scotland Men’s team to open on 4 February
SSC Members able to secure tickets from as little as £10 for juniors and £35 for adults
A huge year for Scotland supporters now has the final pieces of the puzzle in place, as Iceland and Liechtenstein are confirmed as the opponents for Scotland’s June friendly fixtures ahead of ticket sales opening in early February.
Iceland will be up first in the June international window as Scotland welcome them to Hampden for a summer Friday night football festival on 6 June, kick-off 7.45pm.
Steve Clarke will then take his side to Liechtenstein on Monday, 9 June, where they will play the host side at the Rheinpark Stadium in the nation’s capital, Vaduz, kicking off at 6pm local time.
With all the fixtures now confirmed for 2025, Scotland supporters will soon be able to secure their seat at the national stadium for this year’s hotly-anticipated national team games, with ticket sales opening to Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) members on Tuesday, 4 February.
SSC members will have an exclusive sales window to secure their ticket for all five of this year’s home matches from then as five-match packages go on sale from as little as £50 for junior members and from £175 for adults.
Single matches can then be purchased by SSC members from Tuesday, 11 February from as little as £35 for adult members or £10 for junior tickets, before the general public sale begins on Tuesday, 18 February.
With nearly 30,000 SSC memberships sold already to renewing members – out of a maximum of 38,000 – new members will have the chance to secure all the benefits that come with membership, including discounts on Men’s National team tickets, when SSC membership sales open to the general public at 10am on Thursday, 6 February.
Scotland boast a 100 percent record against Iceland, having played them on six previous occasions, all in competitive fixtures. They last played in April 2009 in a FIFA World Cup qualification match at Hampden – a fixture that current Scotland number one Craig Gordon started in.
Scotland also have an unblemished record against Liechtenstein, albeit having only played on two occasions, both in the qualification campaign for the UEFA EURO 2012. Both matches saw Scotland earn a narrow one-goal victory, triumphing 2-1 at Hampden and 1-0 in the return leg.
Avid Scotland supporters already had a crucial UEFA Nations League Play-off tie against Greece to look forward to in March this year, with the top tier of the competition the tantalising prize awaiting the winner.
Once the summer friendly fixtures are over, attention will turn to the qualification campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Greece, Belarus and either Denmark or Portugal lying in wait this autumn.
