The Scottish Football Association is delighted to announce a two-year partnership with Pitchero as Official Grassroots Partner.
Devoted to grassroots development, the partnership will see Pitchero offer football coaching support as official Scottish FA Coach Education Level 1 and 2 sponsors.
Offering innovative digital and groundbreaking technology to improve coaching skills and training environments, the technological support could help uncover and educate a wave of highly-qualified coaches across Scotland.
The partnership will also allow Pitchero the opportunity to offer its innovative digital technology to over 2000 grassroots football clubs in Scotland.
The technology creates additional opportunities to increase club revenue and grassroots participation through day-to-day club management, revenue generation and player recruitment support.
Pitchero is the UK’s number one club website provider, serving over 7000 sports clubs through websites, membership and payment services as well as offering club and fan benefits through a suite of mobile and video apps.
This includes Pitchero Play, a video highlights app that allows any team to record and upload match highlights online within 60 seconds, shared in real time across Pitchero club websites, mobile apps and club social media accounts.
Alongside video facilities, Pitchero’s new apps provide support to coaches, managers and club volunteers in fixture management, team communication, match day news distribution and player management, ultimately streamlining ongoing club logistics.
Mark Fletcher, Pitchero CEO and Co-Founder, said: “Our partnership with the Scottish Football Association further strengthens our core mission to grow UK grassroots sport, whilst providing new technologies to benefit future generations of players and coaches in Scotland.
“Alongside uniting a digital community of players, staff and fans, clubs across all tiers of Scottish football have the opportunity to benefit from a suite of Pitchero services, boosting their membership revenue, sponsor recruitment, and overall participation levels. It is an honour to be involved in such exciting times for Scottish football.”
Stewart Regan, Scottish FA Chief Executive, added: “The Scottish FA are delighted to welcome Pitchero as sponsors of our Level 1 and Level 2 Coach Education courses. The development of the grassroots scene and coach education is of paramount importance to us. We are pleased to welcome on board a partner who shares our commitment and passion to this crucial area of the game.”
