Scottish Gas, title partner of the men’s and women’s Scottish Cup, has unveiled a stunning carbon-absorbing mural at Hampden Park to celebrate the competition’s 150-year history on the eve of Finals weekend.

The vibrant design has been installed by Glasgow-based artist Molly Hankinson above the main reception depicting the football community’s favourite Scottish Cup moments, following a national vote conducted by the Scottish FA.

The artwork has been brought to life using carbon absorbing paint that will help clean the air around Hampden Park, enhancing the atmosphere and unleashing positive energy across the Finals weekend and beyond.

Hampden Park has played host to a multitude of memorable moments throughout its history – this weekend will undoubtedly provide the opportunity for more to be made.

Glasgow rivals Celtic and Rangers go head-to-head in the men’s competition on Saturday (3pm), before Rangers face Hearts in the finale of the women’s competition on Sunday (2:30pm).
