The Scottish FA is delighted to announce that Tannadice Park, Dundee, will host the ninth East region coaching conference.

 

The conference, which will be on between 6pm-9pm, is aimed at coaches working at all levels of football, and will include practical sessions as well as theory analysis sessions. 

 

Guest Speaker: Austin MacPhee

 

We are delighted to of secured Austin’s services for this event. Austin is currently working at the highest level of the game as an assistant coach with Northern Ireland where he was a member of the backroom staff at Euro 2016. 

 

Austin has a wealth of experience as a coach at both international and club level. He was part of the Mexico set up at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. At club level Austin has worked at Cupar Hearts FC, Cowdenbeath FC and St Mirren FC.

 

Austin is also a UEFA Technical observer, this role involves analysing Youth Football in different countries

 

This event will focus on Northern Irelands preparation and analysis of their games against Ukraine and Wales. Austin will deliver theory and practical session on the teams attacking strategy against Ukraine and their tactical plan to deal with Gareth Bale and Wales.

 

The conference has been designated as a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) event for coaches who attend.
