Scotland begin their campaign in the historic Victory Shield competition on Monday, with a match against last year's winners Republic of Ireland at Ruthin Town FC.

Head Coach James Grady has named a squad of 20 for the 2023 Victory Shield which takes place in Wales.

After that match, Scotland face Northern Ireland on Wednesday, 8 November and hosts Wales on Saturday, 11 November.

This new group of players took part in a friendly tournament in Spain last month as they warmed up for this year's Victory Shield - losing to Switzerland and defeating Faroe Islands at the Pinatar Arena.

Previous Tournaments

Scotland performed well but had to settle for second place in the 2022 version of the tournament. After impressive 3-1 and 3-2 wins against Northern Ireland and Wales respectively, Scotland were defeated by Republic of Ireland in an effective tournament decider.

In 2019 and in 2021, Scotland and Wales finished as joint winners of the prestigious tournament.

The Scots last won the tournament outright in 2014.
