Charles Mulgrew
Biography
Charlie came through the youth ranks at Celtic, turning professional in 2002. In 2006, in a bid to gain first team experience, he signed for Dundee United on loan, and picked up an SPL Young Player of the Month Award. He signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers later that year, before moving back to Scotland to join Aberdeen.
In July 2010, he re-joined Celtic as new manager Neil Lennon's first signing. The versatile defender established himself as a first team regular, and displayed a knack for scoring from set pieces.
Charlie was a regular for the Scotland under-21 side during 2007 and 2008. His impressive form during his second spell at Celtic saw Charlie pick up his first senior cap in a 1-1 friendly draw with Slovenia in Koper in February 2011.
