Biography
Winger Evans made her senior Scotland debut in a 2-2 draw with Wales at Tynecastle in October 2011, scoring her first international goal in a 5-1 win over Northern Ireland in her second cap.
She enjoyed four years at Glasgow City from 2008 to 2012, before joining German outfit Turbine Potsdam. After a three-year spell with the club, Evans joined Bayern Munich in 2015 before making the switch to Arsenal two years later.
The 27-year-old helped the London club to victory in the 2018 FA Women’s League Cup final, lining up alongside fellow Scotland internationals Emma Mitchell and Kim Little in a 1-0 victory over Manchester City.
Evans played in every match during Scotland’s successful 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign, scoring the winning goal in their thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over Poland in Kielce. She then went on to feature heavily in Scotland's World Cup matches.
