Biography
Jason Cummings started his playing career at local boys club Hutchison Vale before joining the youth set-up at Hearts. A serious knee injury saw him released but he showed good form on his return Hutchison Vale and was given another chance, this time with Hibs. He made his senior debut aged 19 against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in November 2013 after impressing in the under-20s league and had scored his first goals by the end of the season. Following their relegation, he was Hibs top scorer three seasons running with more than 20 goals in each, helping the team win the Scottish Cup in 2016 and promotion in 2017.
He moved to Nottingham Forest in summer 2017 and scored his first goal for the club in his debut against Shrewsbury Town in the EFL Cup. Cummings was called up to the Scotland squad for a friendly against the Netherlands in November 2017 where he made his senior international debut as a late substitute.
