Biography
Equally comfortable in defence as she is in midfield, Glasgow City midfielder Lauder won her 100th cap during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, against Japan. After making her debut against Italy in the 2010 Cyprus Cup, Lauder’s first goal in a Scotland shirt came in just her third cap as she helped her side to a 2-1 win over South Africa at the same tournament.
Having made her senior breakthrough with Spartans, Lauder agreed to join Apollon Limassol in 2011. She enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign in the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League, scoring five goals in three appearances for the Cypriot outfit. After successful spells in Finland and Sweden, Lauder joined her current club in 2014. Five successive SWPL titles followed, in addition to playing in Glasgow City’s 2015 Champions League quarter-final with Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.
