Fellow Scottish FA officials Frank Connor and David Roome have also been appointed by European football's governing body, the pair included in the pool of assistant referees for the event.

The tournament, which runs from 16-30 June, will mark a second UEFA Under-21 European Championships for Madden, who was involved at the 2017 edition of the competition.

All selected officials will attend a VAR training course in Turkey, which will run from 19-26 April.
