Team News
Scot Gemmill’s side were depleted last month due to UK Government rules meaning England-based players were not exempt from travelling to red-list countries. 10 players from the original named squad were therefore unavailable for selection.
However, the Under-21s boss has a near full strength squad this time around.
Aaron Hickey and Calvin Ramsay are unavailable, having withdrawn from the team through injury this week.
Pre-Match Thoughts
Hibernian star Josh Doig is relishing the chance to pull on a Scotland shirt at Tynecastle, having played for Hearts before moving to the Easter Road side.
He said: “I think any international game is always going to be a well fought contest and Denmark are obviously a very strong side.
“I feel in the game against Turkey we moved the ball well and could perhaps have taken more away from the game. For that group, it was basically our first time together and we bonded really well as a team. We know it is going to be a hard game and both squads are made up of the best under-21 players in their respective countries.”
You can read a full interview with the Hibs defender in the official match programme, available for supporters at Tynecastle Park on Thursday night.
