Auchinleck Talbot West of Scotland Super League (Champions) Founded: 1909 Last Scottish Cup: Second Round (lost to Edinburgh City) Interesting Fact: Reached the Scottish Cup Fourth Round in 2011/12 where they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle.

Burntisland Shipyard Amateur FC East of Scotland First Division (Finished 5th) Founded: 1925 Last Scottish Cup: Preliminary Round (lost to Lothian Thistle HV) Interesting Fact: Hosted Celtic in the Scottish Cup on 21 January 1939. Burntisland scored twice in the first-half but fell to an 8-3 defeat.

Civil Service Strollers East of Scotland Premier Division (Finished 5th) Founded: 1908 Last Scottish Cup: First Round (lost to Forres Mechanics) Interesting Fact: Play in the Muirhouse area of Edinburgh, the same place Scotland boss Gordon Strachan grew up. Cove Rangers Scottish Highland Football League (Finished 3rd) Founded: 1922 Last Scottish Cup: Second Round (lost to Annan Athletic) Interesting Fact: Were one of the Scottish Cup’s top scoring clubs last year, despite going out in the Second Round. They scored 19 goals in just three games.

Girvan Ayrshire District League (Finished 11th) Founded: 1947 Last Scottish Cup: First Round (lost to Whitehill Welfare) Interesting Fact: Entered the Scottish Cup for the first time in 1876 – two years after the competition started. Golspie Sutherland North Caledonian Football League (Champions) Founded: 1924 Last Scottish Cup: First Round (lost to Dalbeattie Star) Interesting Fact: Beat Orkney FC in the 2015 Football Times Cup Final to cap a memorable season for the Northern side, who also won the Caledonian Football League.

Hawick Royal Albert East of Scotland First Division (8th) Founded: 1947 Last Scottish Cup: First Round (lost to Cove Rangers) Interesting Fact: Have won the East of Scotland Football League on three occasions (1967, 1968 & 1974)

Hermes North Region Junior Super League (Champions) Founded: 1968 Last Scottish Cup: Did not compete Interesting Fact: Club name came about when members were struggling to agree on a title and someone spotted a newspaper advert for a Hermes 2000 typewriter.

Kelty Hearts East Super League League (Champions) Founded: 1975 Last Scottish Cup: Did not compete Interesting Fact: Were once managed by former Dunfermline & Livingston boss Jim Leishman.

Lothian Thistle HV East of Scotland Premier Division (Champions) Founded: 1969 Last Scottish Cup: First Round (lost to East Kilbride) Interesting Fact: Players to have come through the clubs youth ranks include Scotland internationals Leigh Griffiths, Steven Whittaker and Allan McGregor.

Newton Stewart South of Scotland Football League (2nd) Founded: 1884 Last Scottish Cup: Preliminary Round (lost to Hawick Royal Albert) Interesting Fact: Nicknamed the Creesiders, as the team play on the banks of the River Cree.

St Cuthbert Wanderers South of Scotland Football League (3rd) Founded: 1879 Last Scottish Cup: Preliminary Round (lost to Auchinleck Talbot) Interesting Fact: Played at Hampden Park in the 1938/39 Scottish Cup but were defeated 4-1 by Queen’s Park.

Vale of Leithen Scottish Lowland Football League (Finished 9th) Founded: 1891 Last Scottish Cup: Preliminary Round (lost to Gala Fairydean) Interesting Fact: The club crest features the figure of St Ronan – a mythical figure in the folklore of Innerleithen. He is said to protect the Borders town from the Devil himself. Wigtown & Bladnoch South of Scotland Football League (Champions) Founded: 1888 Last Scottish Cup: Preliminary Round (lost to Civil Service Strollers) Interesting Fact: Caused a shock in the 1951/52 Scottish Cup when they beat Scottish Football League side Montrose 2-1 at Links Park.
