The West of Scotland Premier Division side shocked their League Two opponents to round off a hugely entertaining weekend which saw 84 goals in across the 20 ties.
The action got underway on Friday night as Cumnock threatened an upset against League Two high-fliers Dumbarton before eventually losing 3-1.
An action-packed Saturday then saw 18 matches take place across the country and it was East of Scotland League side Sauchie Juniors who produced the shock of the day as they scored three first-half goals to defeat League Two Bonnyrigg Rose 3-2 at Beechwood Park.
Another League Two side who came unstuck was Stranraer, who were edged out by Highland League Fraserburgh, while Drumchapel United one of the performance of the round to win 4-1 away to Lowland League outfit Gretna 2008.
With no replays in this season’s competition, penalties were needed on two occasions as Auchinleck Talbot and Stirling Albion both edged through after the drama of spot-kicks.
Kane Hester enjoyed a day to remember as the Elgin City forward scored all four goals in their win over Camelon, while notable mentions also go to Dunipace’s David Grant and Darvel’s Allan Mackenzie also bagged hat-tricks in emphatic wins for their sides.

The draw for the Third Round of the Scottish Cup took place yesterday afternoon, with former Scotland and Hearts defender Christophe Berra conducting the draw.
The matches are set to take place over the weekend of Saturday, 26 November.
