Under-16 International Friendly Scotland 1-0 Wales Monday, 16 February 2026 Kouklia Community Stadium, Cyprus

Scotland Men's Under-16s concluded a successful camp in Cyprus with a 1-0 victory over Wales on Monday.

Lennon Watt's first half goal gave James Grady's side their third win from three matches.

Scotland began with a moral-boosting 4-1 triumph over hosts Cyprus. It was 1-1 at half-time, with Cayden Anderson on target for the Scots, before goals from Keir McMeekin, Coben Fergusson and Flynn Watson gave Scotland a comfortable victory in the end.

Romania were next up and this was a much tighter encounter. Scotland took the lead through Boyd Fraser but the Romanians levelled and the match appeared to be heading towards a draw until Watt popped in with an injury time winner.

Watt was then on target again against the Welsh as a 1-0 win concluded a promising week of development for Grady's side.
