Scotland v Denmark FIFA World Cup Qualifying Tuesday, 18 November 2025 (7:45pm kick-off) Hampden Park, Glasgow

The Scotland squad has been named this morning ahead of what is a crucial double header against Greece and Denmark later this month.

Scotland travel to Piraeus to face Greece on Saturday, 15 November before returning to Glasgow to take on Denmark at a sold-out Hampden Park three days later.

Scotland currently sit second in Group C after three wins and a draw in our first four matches and we have already secured at least a place in the Play-Offs in March.

However, Steve Clarke and his side can also still finish in top spot, should they secure a draw or victory in Greece and a win over the Danes at Hampden Park.

As he did in September, Clarke has opted for a 25-man squad once again for this camp.

There is a return for Hearts captain Lawrence Shankland, who last featured for Scotland in the UEFA Nations League victory over Poland 12 months ago.

Bristol City's Ross McCrorie, who made his sole Scotland appearance against Gibraltar last year, is also back in to bolster the defensive options, along with Josh Doig who missed out in October but was a part of the September squad.

There is a blow in the goalkeeping ranks with Angus Gunn, who has started all four qualifiers so far, missing through injury, though his absence opens up a place for Falkirk goalkeeper Scott Bain, who last featured for Scotland in 2019 against San Marino.

Scotland captain Andy Robertson won his 88th cap against Belarus last month and he could win his 90th cap, should he feature in both matches, while vice-captain John McGinn moved level with Craig Gordon on 81 caps last month, overtaking Darren Fletcher in the process to move joint-fifth in the all-time cap list.
