Scotland v Greece UEFA Nations League Play-Off Sunday, 23 March 2025 (5pm) Hampden Park, Glasgow

Scotland Men’s National Team Head Coach Steve Clarke has named his first squad of 2025, ahead of the forthcoming UEFA Nations League Group A/B Play-Off double-header against Greece.

The Scots travel to Greece for the first leg on Thursday, 20 March before the return leg at Hampden Park on Sunday, 23 March – with a place in the top tier of the 2026 Nations League campaign up for grabs.

They clinched their Play-Off place courtesy of captain Andy Robertson’s dramatic injury-time winner in Poland.

Greece narrowly missed out on automatic promotion in the Nations League to group winners England – despite a memorable 2-1 win at Wembley. The only game they lost throughout the campaign was a 3-0 defeat to England in Athens.

There are first Scotland call-ups for two 18 year-olds, in midfielder Lennon Miller and striker James Wilson.

The Scotland squad is also boosted by the return of defender Kieran Tierney for the first time since last summer's European Championships, while Lewis Ferguson is back for the first time since recovering from the injury that kept him out of that tournament.
