The event follows six regional talent ID days that were held in the summer throughout the north-west, east, south-west and west regions of Scotland where more than 140 players participated, representing 51 clubs - 37 of which are within our NextGen programme.
The sessions were led by Women’s Under-16’s Head Coach, Nichola Greig and Head of Women’s Elite Football, Michael McArdle supported by youth national team coaches and domestic club experts.
The Broadwood event was also an opportunity for young female referees to participate and enhance their skills on the pitch as they continue in their journey towards a career in the game.
