2. Rangers 3-2 Celtic - 1973 Scottish Cup Final 122,000 people squeezed into Hampden to witness these two Glasgow rivals go head-to-head. With the scores at 2-2 and the game on a knife-edge, Rangers Tom Forsyth netted on the hour mark to give his club a 20th Scottish Cup win in their centenary year.

3. Celtic 2-1 Dundee United - 1985 Scottish Cup Final The 100th edition of the Scottish Cup produced a thrilling game at Hampden Park. Celtic had lost the previous year’s final to Aberdeen and went one goal down to United on 55 minutes. A Davie Proven free kick 13 minutes from time evened things up before Frank McGarvey’s late diving header handed Celtic their 28th Scottish Cup win.

4. Aberdeen 4-1 Rangers - 1982 Cup Final Sir Alex Ferguson’s Aberdeen lifted their third Scottish Cup with a hard fought win over Rangers at Hampden. The game finished 1-1 before extra-time goals from Mark McGhee, Gordon Strachan and Neale Cooper made sure the cup was heading North.

5. Falkirk 2-1 Kilmarnock - 1957 Cup Final After a 1-1 draw the 1957 final went to a replay which seen Falkirk win their second Scottish Cup trophy. George Merchant’s goal had given Falkirk the lead before David Curlett netted an equaliser on 78 minutes to force extra-time. Doug Moran’s goal after 101 minutes was enough to give Falkirk their last Scottish Cup win to date.
