2016 Telki Cup - Hungary Scotland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Serbia 30 July - 3 August 2016 Scot Gemmill has named the Scotland Under-17 squad that will compete in the 2016 Telki Cup in Hungary later this month as preparations begin for this season’s UEFA European Championship qualifiers. The four-team tournament, now in its 36th year, features the under-17 national teams of Czech Republic, Serbia and the hosts, Hungary. The squad features eight players who have been involved in the Scottish FA’s performance school programme. Scotland will begin their bid to reach the European Under-17 Championship finals in September when they travel to Portugal. They qualified for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 finals and will aim to make it four-in-a-row by reaching next year’s finals in Croatia. Scotland will play Hungary in their opening match of the Telki Cup on Saturday, 30th July, kick-off 5.30pm.
