Real Sociedad manager David Moyes joined new Scottish FA President Alan McRae and Owen Scott of cup partners William Hill to draw the balls - with some interesting ties thrown up.

Newcomers Harestanes AFC were handed a home tie and will play Girvan in Preliminary Round 1. In other ties, Highland League side Cove Rangers will make the trip north to play Golspie Sutherland while Wigtown & Bladnoch welcome Lowland League side Vale of Leithen.

Kelty Hearts - appearing in the Scottish Cup for the first time - received a bye and will play the winners of Civil Service Strollers and Newton Stewart for a place in the First Round. Kelty manager Thomas Courts says the club are confident of progression but will respect whoever they come up against:

"We’ll give everybody we meet total respect and hopefully that will be reciprocated. We’re just happy to be involved and everyone is really excited at the prospect of this game. "To be East Super League champions and to be representing Junior football in the senior Scottish Cup just feels like such a privilege and an honour as manager.

"Obviously we’ll be looking to progress and put our best foot forward and that’s been helped with the bye, but equally we feel there’s a tie to be had which will give us a very competitive chance of going through."
