Ross McCrorie
Biography
After working his way through the youth ranks at Rangers, Ross McCrorie got his first taste of senior football during a loan spell at Ayr United in 2016, making fifteen appearances as the club won promotion to the Scottish Championship.

He made his Rangers debut in September 2017 during a League Cup quarter-final match against Partick Thistle and scored his first goal for the club in the November of that year.

McCrorie went on to become a regular in the Rangers team before moving on loan to Portsmouth at the beginning of the 2019/20 season.

He joined Aberdeen on loan the following season and the move was made permanent in February 2021.

In June 2023, he signed a three-year deal with English side Bristol City.

At international level, McCrorie has been capped at every age group for Scotland from Under-15s, captaining the Under-19s and Under-21s on several occasions.

He made his senior international debut during a friendly match against Gibraltar ahead of EURO 2024 and was subsequently named in Steve Clarke’s final 26-man squad for the tournament.

Two years after his first cap, McCrorie made his second Scotland start during a friendly match against Cote d’Ivoire.
