The midfielder soon became a regular in the side and started both finals as Hibernian won the domestic cup double in 2017.
After winning the domestic cup double again in 2018, Cornet started the 2019 League Cup final as Hibs defeated Glasgow City to win the trophy for the third consecutive season.
She signed for fellow SWPL side Rangers in January 2020 and was part of the side that won the league title for the first time during the 2021/22 season.
The midfielder created more history with Rangers during the 2022/23 season as they won the League Cup for the first time, before winning the domestic cup double the following season.
After helping the Glasgow side to another League Cup victory in 2025, Cornet signed for English WSL2 side Birmingham City in July 2025.
In her debut season with her new club, the midfielder captained the side during a 2-0 victory over Charlton which secured the league title and promotion to the top flight.
At international level, Cornet represented Scotland from Under-15 to Under-19 level, including appearances at the UEFA Under-17 Championships in 2014 and the UEFA Under-19 Championships in 2017.
The midfielder made her senior international debut in April 2023, coming on as a second half substitute during a 1-0 victory over Australia.
She scored her first international goal in June 2024, scoring the fifth during a 5-0 EURO 2025 qualifying victory over Israel.
