
After signing her first professional contract with the club in August 2022, MacLean was part of the Rangers side that lifted the Sky Sports Cup for the first time in their history during the 2022/23 season and was nominated for the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award.
The midfielder was again nominated for award during the 2023/24 season as well as being nominated for the PFA Scotland Women’s Players’ Player of the Year accolade as Rangers won the domestic cup double.
MacLean helped Rangers secure back-to-back domestic cup doubles during the 2024/25 season before moving to English WSL side Liverpool in July 2025.
She made her Liverpool debut as a substitute in the opening game of the 2025/26 season against Everton before starting her first WSL game against Manchester United in September 2025.
At international level, MacLean represented Scotland from Under-15 to Under-19 level before being called up to the senior squad for the first time in July 2023.
She made her international debut as a second half substitute against Northern Ireland at Dens Park on the 14th July 2023 before making her first Scotland start later that year against The Netherlands.
MacLean won her 15th international cap in April 2026, starting a World Cup qualifying match against Belgium at Easter Road.
