Biography
After spells as a youth player with Rangers, Celtic and Glasgow City, Lauren Davidson began her senior career with SWPL side Hibernian in 2018.

In her debut season Davidson won her first major honour, scoring in the final as Hibernian defeated Motherwell to win the Scottish Cup.

She added more silverware in 2019 as the Edinburgh side beat Glasgow City to win the League Cup.

The striker left Hibernian in August 2020 to rejoin Glasgow City, winning the league title in her debut season.

Her finest moment in a City shirt came in the final match of the 2022/23 season as the striker scored a dramatic stoppage time goal against Rangers to secure another league title.

Davidson scored 77 goals in 135 appearances for City, earning a place in the club’s top ten all-time scorers list, before departing for Norwegian side SK Brann in July 2024.

After SK Brann finished second in the league during the striker’s first year in Norway, Davidson was the club’s joint top scorer with 15 goals as they secured the Toppserien title in 2025.

At international level, Davidson represented Scotland at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level before being called up for the senior squad for the first time in 2021.

She made her senior debut as a substitute against Hungary in September of that year before scoring on her first start against The Philippines in February 2023.

The striker scored her second international goal against Luxembourg at Hampden in March 2026 before earning her 30th cap the following month during a World Cup qualifying match against Belgium.
