Taylor spent one season with Arsenal in 2017 before moving to the United States to play college football in 2018.
She was named as CAA Rookie of the Year with Hofstra University Pride in her first year in the USA before helping the team to the CAA Championship in 2021, scoring 17 goals and being named CAA Attacking Player of the Year.
The midfielder signed for Angel City in 2022 where she spent one season before returning to England to sign for WSL side Liverpool in January 2023.
She joined Aston Villa on loan during the second half of the 2023/24 season, signing permanently with the club ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
At international level, Taylor represented England as a youth before switching allegiance to Scotland in November 2025.
She made her Scotland debut as a second half substitute during a friendly with Ukraine in November 2025 before making her first international start the following month against China PR.
The midfielder’s first competitive start for Scotland came in March 2025 when she started and played the full ninety minutes of a World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg.
