UEFA European Under-17 Championship First Round qualifier
Scotland 1-1 Italy
Friday 23rd October 2015, 5pm kick-off
Sozopol, Bulgaria

(Duffy 32’, Pinamonti 40+1’)

Scotland must wait to discover if they have qualified for the elite round of the UEFA European Under-17 Championships after being held by Italy in Bulgaria.

A Wallace Dufy goal after 32 minutes had given Scotland the lead before Italy equalised in injury time in the first half through Andrea Pinamonti.

With Bulgaria and FYR Macedonia drawing 0-0 in group’s other match, Scotland finished third on head-to-head with Bulgaria, who secured the second spot just behind Italy.

Scotland can still qualify one of five best third-placed teams, which will be determined once all first qualifying groups are completed later this month.
