Brian McLaughlin has named his Scotland Under-17 squad for the forthcoming UEFA European Under-17 Championship Elite Round.
Fresh from beating Poland and Spain in their recent International Challenge Matches, the Scots head for Greece – where they’ll go toe to toe with the hosts, Germany and Norway.
A place in this summer’s finals in England is up for grabs for those nations who finish top of their group, in addition to seven runners-up with the best records against the teams finishing first and their in their section.
There are 13 Scottish FA JD Performance School participants in the 20-strong group, which has been boosted by the return of Hearts duo Anthony McDonald and Harry Cochrane.
The 16-year-old pair have been excused in recent times, having become top-team regulars at Tynecastle, while there’s a fresh face in West Ham right-back Harrison Ashby.
Aberdeen's Dean Campbell is a notable absentee through injury and everyone involved wishes him a speedy recovery.
