The draw for the preliminary round of the 2014/15 William Hill Scottish Cup took place at Commonwealth House, Glasgow, this morning. Eight ties were drawn, and six teams received byes in to the first round.
In the build-up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Scottish FA Chief Executive, Stewart Regan, was joined by Glasgow 2014 Chief Executive, David Grevemberg, and William Hill Area Operations Manager, Eddie Thompson to conduct the draw.
The home of Scottish football, Hampden Park, will be a key Commonwealth Games venue, hosting the track and field athletics competitions, and the closing ceremony.

2. Auchinleck Talbot v St. Cuthbert Wanderers

6. Newton Stewart v Hawick Royal Albert
7. Edinburgh City v Fort William
