Scotland continue our preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026 with a final warm-up match against Bolivia in New Jersey.

It will be the last time Steve Clarke's side feature before our eagerly-awaited opener against Haiti on Saturday, 13 June at the Boston Stadium.

Scotland were given a rousing send-off by the Tartan Army last weekend after seeing off Curacao 4-1 at Barclays Hampden. The visitors took a shock lead but Findlay Curtis' first international goal pulled us level, before a brace from Lawrence Shankland and a Ryan Christie penalty eventually saw Scotland record a comfortable win.

It was not all good news, however, with midfielder Billy Gilmour unfortunately ruled out of the tournament after suffering a first half injury. He was replaced in the squad by Tyler Fletcher, who only made his Scotland debut as a second half substitute against Curacao.

Scotland then swapped Mount Florida for Florida, USA, as Clarke's squad jetted off for a warm weather training camp in Fort Lauderdale to acclimatise and prepare for the final pre-World Cup test against Bolivia - side we have never faced before.

Pre-match thoughts

Steve Clarke: “Selection is straightforward. We have to do what we have to do to prepare for the Haiti game. So players need minutes. I need to see one or two players’ position on the pitch.

"And then we’ve got a week to prepare for the first game, so it’s all about preparation. There’s no trying to protect players or whatever.”

Team News

Che Adams, Lewis Ferguson, Scott McTominay, John McGinn and Kieran Tierney all missed last weekend's match in Glasgow, having joined up with the squad a few days later than others.
