Ryan Christie
Biography
Ryan was born in Inverness and joined the youth system at Inverness Caledonian Thistle aged 10. He secured a senior contract with the club and made his debut in 2013 against Celtic. Fast-forward to the 2014-15 season and Ryan had become an important player for the team - he won two SPFL Young Player of the Month awards and was shortlisted for the Young Player of the Year Award. He also played a part in helping the club clinch Scottish Cup glory that year.
In September 2015, Ryan joined Celtic on a four-year deal and made his debut for the Hoops in January 2016. First team opportunities were limited and in January 2016 Ryan joined Aberdeen on loan for the season. The move was a success and the loan was extended into the 2017-18 season.
Ryan made his Scotland Under-21s debut in September 2014 and has won nine caps at that level. He made his debut for the senior team in a friendly against the Netherlands in November 2017.
