Nominations for the 2022 Scottish FA Grassroots Awards presented by McDonald’s and the Sunday Mail are now open for the 20th year, you can make your nominations via the forms here.

The awards aim to recognise and reward people across the country that make a difference to grassroots football in their local community.

The awards are split into regional and national categories. Grassroots clubs, coaches and volunteers from any of the six Scottish FA regions can be nominated.

The remarkable role of volunteers has been crucial across the game and will be highlighted in the 20th year of the Grassroots Awards.

Volunteers have found innovative ways of approaching the challenges faced in the grassroots game as a result of the virus. From delivering food parcels to the vulnerable, to supporting grassroots players and the community through digital platforms.

We’re looking for the incredible stories and people behind these initiatives, both on and off the pitch.

With nominations now open for the 2022 Grassroots Awards, keep an eye on the Scottish FA social channels for news of the national and regional winners.
