Scotland Women’s Under-17s have secured a comprehensive win in their final match ahead of next month’s European Championship qualifiers.

Michael Tuohy’s side ran out 5-3 winners in the second game of this week’s double-header against Finland. The young team narrowly missed out in the first match, losing 1-nil.

A hat-trick for Dara Ositelu and goals from Toni Campbell and Isla Gourley sealed the victory. The camp also marked debuts for Mehak Khanna and Isla Taylor.

The two games are the final test before heading to Poland in October for their round one European Qualifiers against England, Montenegro and hosts, Poland.

The young team narrowly missed out on qualification for this summer’s European Championships following a final day defeat to France but retained their spot in ‘Group A’ for the fourth consecutive year.

There were five new call-ups to the Under-17 age group in this window with Erin Anderson, Lexie Kelly Fellows, Jessica Ramsay, Amelie Chomczuk and Isla Miller all included for the first time.
