Thomas McInnes was born in Glasgow on 29 August, 1870. Died 1937.
A utility forward, usually playing at outside right, McInnes had an eventful career in Scotland and England. He won his cap as a teenager while still at his first club, Cowlairs, and his fame no doubt helped him to move briefly to Newcastle East End, back to Glasgow with Clyde and then, in June 1892, to Nottingham Forest. He spent six years with Forest, winning the FA Cup in 1898, before again heading north a year later for
