2026 FIFA World Cup Ticket Information
The Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) has now received the Participating Member Association (PMA) allocation for each match from the World Cup organisers, FIFA, along with ticket prices for each category.
Following our discussions with FIFA, these tickets for the PMA allocation will be exclusively for SSC Members, who received an access code on Monday, 15 December, along with instructions on using the FIFA Portal.
Below are listed the total allocation. The SSC will receive tickets in three categories. Only one category of ticket can be selected on the application. On FIFA’s system, these categories are defined as the Supporters Premier Tier (Category 1), the Supporters Standard Tier (Category 2) and the Supporters Value Tier (Category 3).
The Scottish FA will also receive a selection of tickets for players' families, staff and partners, although this allocation is separate from the numbers listed below.
The SSC would like to thank all the supporters who took the time to fill in the Pre-Application Survey which will help us issue guidance throughout the application window.
Members who indicated they wish to apply on behalf an Under-18 received tailored instructions with their access code.
Members with accessibility needs also received tailored instructions with their access code. Please note that our accessible tickets are included in the below allocation, however, we are yet to receive exact numbers from FIFA with regards to how many accessible tickets we have for each match.
Please note that the prices, allocations and pricing strategies are dictated by the tournament organisers, FIFA.

It’s important to remember that the World Cup is organised by FIFA but we have been in regular dialogue with relevant organisational staff, along with our fellow PMAs (Participating Member Associations), to ensure our fans who wish to travel have the best chance possible to attend.
We have also emphasised the importance of Scotland Supporter Club (SSC) members being given priority for any Scotland allocation in line with our long-established loyalty points system, as a reward for their outstanding commitment.
We would advise Scotland supporters who are not Members to refer to guidance from FIFA regarding ticket applications at this stage.
Within the constraints of the system - we have attempted to align as closely as possible with the process that supporters are familiar with for Scotland away matches (please note that details remain subject to change).
FIFA Application Window
SSC Members will be able to apply for all of Scotland’s group stage matches and potential knock-out matches, during the FIFA Application Window for PMA tickets, which opened Thursday, 11 December and will run until Tuesday 13 January.
Although the window for all PMAs opened on Thursday, 11 December, SSC Members have had access to apply for tickets from Monday 15 December via the official FIFA Portal using an access code. These were issued to each member on this date, based on the loyalty points system, with the issuing of codes staggered throughout the day, starting from the highest points level.
It is worth stressing in the first instance that, unlike for EURO 2024, this is an application window and not a purchase window: tickets will not be officially secured until the end of the process. Applications are also not assessed on a first-come-first-serve basis, with loyalty points instead being used to determine successful applications upon the closure of the window.
An email was also sent to SSC members with further instructions on how to apply for tickets and use the FIFA portal.
We understand that this will be SSC Members’ only opportunity to obtain tickets in the official PMA allocation. Any future sales may be subject to availability and subject to FIFA’s Variable Pricing strategies.
Each member must apply for their own tickets. There is an option to link your order to other members so you can be seated together (similar to the EURO 2024 process), provided that you are successful and in the same category – this should be in the ticketing guidance you received via e-mail. We will provide additional guidance when we receive it, along with information for accessible members, and further information for those who are under the age of 18.
Ballot Process
The FIFA Application window will close on Tuesday 13 January with the Final Deadline. Applicant information will be shared with the SSC, who will confirm to FIFA the successful applicants for all matches, based on our loyalty points system.
For each match that is oversubscribed, we will conduct a ballot using the loyalty point system to determine who is successful in receiving their chosen category ticket, starting with the highest of 32 points and working our way down the points ladder until all eligible members have been allocated tickets for their chosen category.
Although FIFA’s Final Deadline is Tuesday, 13 January, we recommend all SSC Members apply by 11pm on Sunday 21 December. Following this date, we expect to receive application data from FIFA and this will allow us to offer guidance to fans on what tickets are still available and whether to adjust their applications ahead of the Final Deadline.
For example, Category 3 tickets may be over-subscribed, in which case we would look to advise those on a certain point bracket to apply for a different category of ticket to increase their chances of being successful.
Please note, you will not be penalised if you miss this Recommended Deadline and the window remains open until Tuesday, 13 January. However, applying before this date would help us produce more accurate guidance.
As mentioned previously, it is imperative that SSC members take note of the guidance provided after the Recommended Deadline, and decide if they wish to change their application based on the amount of available tickets in each category and the expected demand.
Payment
Supporters will need to enter the payment information at the point of allocation.
Please note, payment will be taken by FIFA for each match that you are successful for. We recommend only applying for tickets that you are happy to pay for. Unfortunately, there is no way to split payments or pay in instalments.
Successful applicants will receive communication in February when the monies will be taken from their account. Payment will be taken by FIFA between Monday 9 February and Sunday 22 February 2026. Payment will be taken for all of Scotland’s group stage and potential knock-out matches that have been applied for.
If Scotland do not qualify for a knock-out match that you have applied for, then the money will be refunded by FIFA after the tournament (subject to a FIFA refund fee which is yet to be confirmed).
Ticket Resale
We do not expect a resale platform for tickets purchased in the official Scotland PMA allocation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Below are listed some Frequently Asked Questions, based on our understanding of the process at this stage. Please note, we are regularly receiving updates from FIFA and will continue to update our guidance for supporters throughout the process.
As a Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) Member, when and how can I apply for tickets for Scotland’s matches?
SSC Members will receive an access code on Monday, 15 December which will allow them access to the FIFA Portal to apply for tickets from Scotland’s Participating Member Association (PMA) allocation. The sending of these codes will be staggered throughout the day, based on SSC points total, but please note there is no first-come-first-serve element to this application.
SSC Members have until the Final Deadline of Tuesday, 13 January to apply for tickets but we would encourage all SSC Members to apply before our Recommended Deadline of 11pm on Sunday, 21 December.
If matches are oversubscribed, how will the successful applicants be decided?
For each match that is oversubscribed, we will conduct a ballot following the Final Deadline using the loyalty point system to determine who is successful in receiving their chosen category ticket, starting with the highest of 32 points and working our way down the points ladder until all eligible members have been allocated tickets for their chosen category.
What is the allocation for SSC Members and how much do tickets cost?
The allocation and prices for all of Scotland's matches and potential matches are listed here.
What is the process for under 18s?
Under FIFA’s rules, no-one under the age of 18 can apply for their own tickets. A member over the age of 18 may apply on behalf of a maximum of one member under the age of 18. The SSC sent out a Pre-Application Survey earlier this week and all those who indicated that they will be applying on behalf of a Member under the age of 18 will be sent tailored instructions on how to do this.
If circumstances have changed and you are no longer travelling with an under 18, you can still use the access code already to sent to you to apply for a single ticket.
Your single ticket application will be based on your existing loyalty points as an SSC member.
How many categories of ticket can I apply for?
The SSC will receive tickets in three categories. Only one category of ticket can be selected on the application. On FIFA’s system, these categories are defined as the Supporters Premier Tier (Category 1), the Supporters Standard Tier (Category 2) and the Supporters Value Tier (Category 3).
In addition, the SSC will be in regular contact with members in the period following the Recommended Deadline on Sunday, 21 December, and the Final Deadline on Tuesday, 13 January, with guidance around applications.
For example, Category 3 tickets may be over-subscribed, in which case we would look to advise those on a certain point bracket to apply for a different category of ticket to increase their chances of being successful.
What is the advice for Members of the SSC who have accessibility needs?
A separate, tailored survey was sent to those members of the SSC who are registered as having accessibility needs. These members will be sent instructions on how to apply for the relevant accessibility sections. The survey also included details of how to contact the SSC with any questions over the application. We understand that those with accessibility needs can also choose one of any of the three aforementioned categories.
Please note that there are no complimentary companion tickets for this tournament, which is in line with standard policies with the United States. Pricing is based on the rate for accessible seating tickets (PMA Premium, Standard, Value) depending on the different price category chosen.
Can I change my application after submitting it?
Applications can be restarted again from scratch, if you want to amend your selections after submission, as long as the Final Deadline on Tuesday, 13 January has not yet passed.
You can do this using the same access code that you were sent on Monday, 15 December. However, you may have to wait around 24 hours to be able to use the access code on a new application.
When do SSC Members have to pay for any potential tickets?
SSC Members will not have to pay for any tickets until February, when the application window closes and successful applicants are contacted. Payment will be taken by FIFA between Monday 9 February and Sunday 22 February 2026. Please note that card details must be entered during the initial application and payment will be taken if the application is successful. Under the FIFA System, we understand there is no option at this stage to decline the tickets.
What if I am a Scotland supporter who is not an SSC Member?
Although only SSC Members can apply for tickets in Scotland’s PMA allocation, Scotland supporters who are not SSC Members can apply for tickets in FIFA’s Random Selection Draw, which will open at 4pm (UK time) and close at 4pm (UK time) on Tuesday, 13 January.
There will not be a penalty for SSC Members who also choose to apply for tickets within this Random Selection Draw. However, it should be noted that we understand there is no option to decline tickets if successful, so Members should only apply for what they are prepared to pay for. In Addition, FIFA’s rule of a maximum of four tickets per “household” (postal address), will also apply.
Are there transfer or ticket resale options for tickets within the PMA allocation?
We do not expect a resale platform for tickets purchased in the official Scotland PMA allocation.
At this stage, we also have no guarantees that tickets from the PMA allocation will be transferable, and in our discussions with FIFA we have emphasised the importance of protecting the integrity of the loyalty point scheme. We would ask Members to only apply for PMA tickets if they fully intend on going to the matches.
