Defender Leah Eddie has returned to the Scotland Women’s National Team squad for this month’s international friendlies against China PR and Ukraine, marking her first call-up under Head Coach Melissa Andreatta.
The 25-year-old, who has been side-lined through injury, is back in contention as Scotland prepare to close out their 2025 campaign with two matches in Spain — fixtures that will serve as key preparation ahead of the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers next year.
There’s also a first call-up for Aston Villa midfielder Miri Taylor. The 25-year-old, who previously represented England at youth level, has impressed in the WSL, most recently scoring the decisive goal in Villa’s 1–0 victory over an unbeaten Manchester United.
Kirsty Smith and Amy Rodgers drop out of selection for the final two games of the year as Andreatta continues to assess the squad ahead of next year’s qualification campaign.
Last week, Scotland were drawn in Group B4 of the European Qualifiers alongside Belgium, Israel and Luxembourg.
