As It Happened
From the whistle, Scotland were quick out of the traps and Aiden Crilly missed an early chance in the second minute, unable to get a foot to a potential volley.
Scotland had started really brightly and we kept good possession throughout the first half, with quick turnovers whenever the ball was lost.
Scotland's next chance came in the 12th minute as Max Cameron played a precise through ball to Crilly, who took a shot that unfortunately went just too high.

Scotland were impressive in the bravery showed on a number of occasions, and the commitment to playing out, and one such move saw Nairn Reynolds feed the ball through to Caelen-Kole Cadamarteri, who was stopped from going one-on-one with England’s George Mair when he was called back by the referee for a harsh looking earlier foul.
England's Ryan Kavuma-McQueen then limped off in the 34th minute, leaving his side to play with 10 men for five minutes before Ajay Tavares replaced him.

As the first half’s close neared, Brian Madjo had a chance to put England in front as a cross from Oscar Sandiford found England’s number nine, but his effort came off the crossbar.
The final chance of the half came from Scotland’s Cadamarteri, who came onto the ball from Crilly, and got a shot off from eight yards out which unfortunately went just wide ensuring the half ended goalless.
From the start of the second half, Scotland came out firing, and Jamie Forrest floated a cross over to Crilly, whose effort flew just wide of Mair’s goal, denying Scotland an early lead in the second half.
Cameron was a constant threat and he took ball from deep in Scotland’s half on a number of occasions, screaming up the left wing and creating several half chances.
After an open first half, opportunities to score were few and far between throughout the second half as the midfield battle intensified.
England’s Madjo then had a huge late chance to put England in front with 20 minutes remaining but Aaron Thomson would make an impressive clearance off the line.
Then, as the game neared its end, there was a dramatic consluion deep into stoppage time as Luke Douglas was able to get on the end of Emmanuel Obidiwe’s cross and slot the ball in at the back post to give Scotland a deserved win.
There was still time for more drama after the final whistle as England's Charles Holland threw the ball at Scotland's Douglas in frustration, right in front of the referee who issued a red card to the England youngster.

Match report by John Shiels
Post-match thoughts
Scotland Head Coach Brian McLaughlin: "We knew it was going to be a tough game. Last month, they scored seven against Germany.
“Before the game, the boys were super prepared, and they’re good players.
“So, before the game, we were confident that we could get control of the game. We knew there were going to be big moments, and we had to take ours and defend theirs.
“It was a tough game, a 50/50 game. There were times where we played the way we want to play and there were times where England made it really tough. But this is international football.
“We speak a lot about playing in 15 minute blocks, so the guys who started the game knew that they were probably going to get to the 60th minute, and then we were going to start bringing in the boys off the bench in 15 minute blocks, which we did. They had the impact that I knew they’d have.
"The result's amazing for the players, it's amazing for the staff and families but our priority is developing the players and we've got another few matches this week which we look forward to."
Scotland match winner Luke Douglas: "I'm delighted, obviously. I didn’t start but to come on and score the winner. That’s the dream.
“You dream about that when you’re younger and celebrating with the boys. It’s amazing.
“I saw my mum up there in the crowd smiling away when I scored, so I was really proud.”
“We have a great togetherness - we get along, and obviously, the bonds are there. They’re one of the best groups I’ve been with, so I really enjoy that.
"It's a great result but it's only one game and we've got two big matches to come."
