Scotland Under-19s will jet off to Albania next weekend as they begin their UEFA Women’s Under-19 EURO 2024 campaign with three Round One matches in Tirana.
The young Scots will face Iceland, Serbia and Belarus in a round robin format. Scotland are competing in a League A group, having been promoted earlier in the year from League B.
Three teams from the group will progress to Round Two, with the bottom side being relegated to League B.
Lithuania are the hosts for the final tournament which will take place next summer.
Scotland's Round One campaign begins on Tuesday, 24 October when they take on Iceland.
Serbia are the next opponents three days later, and Round One concludes with a game against Belarus on Monday, 30 October.
All three matches will take place at the Arena Kombëtare in Tirana.
Scotland Under-19s have fond memories of Albania, having triumphed 5-0 over Albania and 7-0 over Liechtenstein in Tirana earlier in 2023 to gain promotion to League A.
Michael McArdle will lead the young side, assisted by Nichola Sturrock.
Scotland's preparation for these fixtures included a couple of friendlies against Hungary in Edinburgh last month.
Scotland won the first game 2-0 before losing narrowly in the second match.
