Scot Gemmill has named his squad for Scotland Under-21s upcoming European Qualifier against Lithuania.
The 2019-21 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers resume almost 10 months on from the previous fixtures back in November.
A trip to take on Lithuania is in store for the third placed Scots, who drew 0-0 with their September opponents in their last meeting back in October 2019.
There are a number of new faces in the squad from the 21-man list Gemmill named back in March only for the Coronavirus crisis to bring a halt to football across Europe.
Now, with fixtures gradually returning, the Under-21s manager is eager to see his young players back in action.
Scot Gemmill: “In these unprecedented times, I think the anticipation to get together as a group again for international football has never been higher.
“The players face a challenge nobody has experienced before, so I am eager to see how they handle the occasion and the return of international football after nearly ten months without it.
“Yet again, we have a strong group of players and we all know the challenge that faces us next month. Lithuania made it difficult for us when they came here and it is not going to be an easy trip, especially in these circumstances, but I look forward to seeing how the players rise to the occasion.”
