Biography
Allan Craig was born in Paisley on 7 February, 1904. Date of death not known. Craig was an outstanding centre half for Motherwell at the time of the club's prominence in the late 1920s and early 1930s, before captaining Chelsea in England. He joined Motherwell in December 1924 from local football in Paisley, and soon established himself in the side. He was virtually ever present from 1925 onwards, and was a key factor in Motherwell's Scottish League Championship winning season.
