Biography
James McDougall was born in Port Glasgow on 23 January 1904. Died in July 1984.
He joined Partick Thistle in 1925 from Port Glasgow Athletic and although he did not immediately establish himself in the first team a run of fine performances in 1927/28 earned him a transfer to Liverpool where he remained until 1938.
