John Cameron

Thomas Burns was born in Glasgow on 16 December, 1956. I:K A skilled and creative midfielder, Tommy Burns became a Celtic legend for his lifelong dedication to the club. He signed for Celtic in August 1973, turning professional the following year after a spell at Maryhill Juniors, and soon broke into the first team. He won numerous honours, including Scottish League championship medals in 1976/77, 1978/79, 1980/81, 1981/82, 1985/86 and 1987/88. Added to this were mulitple Scottish Cup successes.
