Robert Glen

Robert Glen was born in Renton (Dunbartonshire) on 16 January, 1875. Date of death not known. If his date of birth is correct, Glen was a precocious talent who made his league debut aged just 16. He joined his local club, Renton, in 1890, and did well enough to earn a move to Sheffield Wednesday in the summer of 1893. It was a short-lived transfer, however, as he made just one first team appearance for the Yorkshire side before returning to Renton, where he remained until January 1897.
