Biography
John S McNab was born in Cleland (Lanarkshire) on 7 April, 1894. He died on 2 January, 1949.
Jock McNab was a latecomer to the professional game, his early experiences being in the Army during the first world war, and then at Bellshill Athletic. It was not until November 1919, aged 25, that he joined Liverpool but made up for lost time with a determined effort, powerful tackle and intelligent distribution. He won the Football League championship twice at Anfield, in seasons 1921
