Biography
Joseph Dodds was born in Carluke, Lanarkshire, on 14 July, 1887. He died on 14 October, 1965. Joe Dodds was a dependable and fast left back who earned numerous honours in his time at Celtic. Joining the club in the summer of 1908 from Carluke Milton Rovers, he soon established himself in the side which won the league the following two seasons, 1908/09 and 1909/10, the last two years of the six-in-a-row record. There were further league medals to come, in consecutive seasons from 1914 to 191
