Biography
Adam Smith Blacklaw was born in Aberdeen on 2 September, 1937.
Blacklaw joined Burnley straight from Frederick Street School in Aberdeen in 1954, having shown sufficient goalkeeping prowess to win three schoolboy caps, and spent his entire playing career south of the border. He remained at Turf Moor until 1967 at a time when Burnley were Football League champions (1959/60) and also played in the FA Cup Final of 1962.
